Job Description
Neighborhood Schoolhouse is an independent school in Brattleboro, Vermont. Our students range from 6 weeks to 7 years old. At Neighborhood Schoolhouse we strive to provide stimulating programs to assist our students in becoming initiators of positive change in the community and world. It is believed that by giving the children the opportunity to learn by direct experience, inductive reasoning may develop naturally, and ultimately these children can grow into responsible, independent thinkers. Since 1980, Neighborhood Schoolhouse has supported a lifelong love of learning through arts integration, nature-based exploration, and social-emotional development. Nestled beside a 400-acre protected forest, our campus offers a rich environment for young children to learn through connection with the natural world. Our pre-k program emphasizes nurturing relationships, outdoor learning, and the development of foundational skills in a joyful, play-based setting.
